Welcome to the St. Olaf College Class of 1966 Reunion Website! The fact that you made it here is a testament to your having acquired the tools and knowledge needed to navigate through cyber space in this age of information technology, or you got help from one of your grandchildren. However you got here, we’re glad you made the effort.
Now that you’re here, we encourage you to explore this site, not just this one time, but regularly. This site will be the primary means by which we hope to reconnect with fellow classmates over the next five years leading up to our 50th Class Reunion in 2016. For starters, click on the Class Correspondence button at the left. The first issue of our class newsletter will open up and introduce our Class Connection Committee (aahhh, such fresh, young faces). Future issues of the newsletter will be posted here together with other correspondence.
Next, take a look at Classmates. You should see a Profile of one of our own. Go to the Sort By button and select a method for pulling up your own picture (yes, that really is you; that’s what the years do to each of us). OK, here’s the deal: we want to learn about you so click on the Add Your Profile button or the Edit Your Profile button. You have to enter your user name and password. These are on the back of the class newsletter that was mailed to you. If you don’t have that, click on the I Forgot button and your user name and password will be emailed to you. When you have accessed your Profile, please fill in the basic information and then add more. Include a picture. You can come back again and add more when you feel inspired to share. Easy, peazey, huh?
Now navigate to the Photo Albums page. This is a work in progress. We need more pictures so add some of your own or create a new album for a particular group if you think there are other classmates in the group who would likely post photos of their own; for example, maybe we should have an album for chemistry majors. What did all the chem majors do after graduation?
Visit the In Memory page to see the classmates we have lost over the years.
Finally, go to the Contact Us button. Give it a click and send us a message. We’d like to know you visited and we’d like feedback on what you think of the class website. Thanks, we look forward to hearing from you soon and to seeing you in 2016.
